Where is the National Planning Conference 2023 held?

The BCEC is located in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre, just minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Station.

This convenient midland location ensures it’s not just easily accessible by train but once you arrive in Birmingham, the venue is in easy reach of the station, hotels, restaurants and shops.

When is the National Planning Conference 2023?

The National Planning Conference 2023 will be held on 9 and 10 November at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre.

How much do tickets cost?

There are a range of tickets available – from standard tickets to public sector and RTPI member rates.

Be sure to catch our early bird rate only until available on tickets purchased up until 10 September.

I have booked a ticket but can no longer attend, what do I do?

Does the conference have CPD accreditation?

Yes, the National Planning Conference is CPD accredited!

How do I notify you about an allergy?

Please email conference@planningportal.co.uk and our team will be able to take the details of any allergies or dietary requirements.

Is there a dress code for attending the National Planning Conference?

We suggest business attire for attending the conference and gala dinner.

I am an RTPI member, how to I obtain a discount code?

For RTPI members, email conference@planningportal.co.uk with your RTPI membership number and which ticket you wish to purchase. Our team will provide you with a valid discount code for a reduced ticket rate.

I work in the public sector, how to I obtain a discount code?

For a public sector discount, email conference@planningportal.co.uk using your gov.uk or equivelent email address and advise which ticket you wish to purchase. Our team will provide you with a valid discount code for a reduced ticket rate.

Can you invoice me for ticket purchases?

Email conference@planningportal.co.uk and advise which ticket you wish to purchase and the quantity. Our team will be able to help you.

How do I book a bundle ticket?

A bundle ticket option of 5 tickets for the price of 4 is available. Email conference@planningportal.co.uk and advise which ticket you wish to purchase and the quantity (5 or more). Our team will be able to help you.

Please note, bundle ticket offers do not apply to public sector ticket purchases.

Do the ticket prices include VAT?

Ticket prices shown are not including VAT. The VAT will be applied to the ticket cost when you book your place.

When will I receive my ticket?

After you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your digital ticket. Please present this on the day.

You may be asked to confirm personal information such as your name, organisation and email address when you register on the day of the conference.

How to I enter a discount code?

Select the ticket type you wish to purchase, for example 2 day conference with gala dinner, and the quantity.

Click ‘Next’. You will see a breakdown of the ticket purchase cost and VAT. Below the price information choose ‘Do you have a promo code?’ and enter your valid discount code provided by our team, click apply.
