Chair, Wei Yang & Partners
Wei is an internationally renowned town planner and urban designer who champions a place-based whole systems approach to tackle the grand challenges of our times. She is Chair of Wei Yang & Partners, an award-winning master planning firm in London. She is also Co-Founder and CEO of the Digital Task Force for Planning – a not-for-profit organisation with the mission to unlock the full potential of spatial planning in the digital era. Wei is the first female Chair of the Construction Industry Council (CIC). She served as President for 2021 of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Wei is a board member of the British Library, Global Planner Networks (GPN) representative at UN Habitat Professional Forum, and Professionals Co-Chair of UN Habitat World Urban Campaign Steering Committee. Wei is a Fellow of Academy of Social Sciences, a Fellow of the RTPI, and an Honorary Professor at University College London.
